WarCraft 3: Patch 1.22 Entering Public Beta

Posted by zEro on March 21st, 2008

blizzlogo.gifKarune, the online community PR manager, has finally made some sound regarding the WarCraft 3 patch 1.22 that has been waited for since 1 year and a few months now. Karune on the Blizzard’s WarCraft 3 Battle.net Forums has posted that the Patch 1.22 will enter public beta on their servers, so to playtest that patch, gamers need to upgrade to 1.22b. Unfortunately if they want to play the Battle.net on the current patch they will have to download grade once again.

March 19th, 2008- The Dev Team is now preparing test servers with the patch that will be available for testing by the public. In order to jump on these servers, you will have to upgrade your version of the game to the test patch. Upon completion of the testing on the public test server, those participating will have to downgrade their version of the game back to the latest retail patch. We will also be using Battle.net forums to gather feedback and bug reports from the community. Exact location of this forum is still to be determined.

But the best part is it is almost here! Read the developments as we followed on the blog, here. Also find on the blow the list of proposed changes in the game. Blizzard has taken user input to the next level. Just release the damned patch!
