New Dose of Street Fighter 4 Screens!

Posted by zEro on March 15th, 2008

sf-4-abel-guile.jpgCapcom releases a set of 70 screenshots for their upcoming title Street Fight 4 which happens to be entirely 3D this time round. The screens look awesome and show of Abel and Crimson Viper, two of the new characters added.

Crimson Viper happens to be a 3 piece suit clad female fighter, apparently, developed as a fast and combo intensive character. While Abel is more of a sluggish yet hard hitting male fighter.

The backgrounds are very similar to the classic SF titles, but they still need a lot of working on them.

Kristin Kreuk of Smallville in a new Street Fighter movie

Posted by zEro on February 20th, 2008

small-kriskreuk.jpgThe first paragraph of the Variety’s article on the upcoming Street Fighter 4 movie states it all for me.

Kristin Kreuk, Michael Clarke Duncan, Chris Klein and Rick Yune will star in Hyde Park Entertainment and Capcom’s “Street Fighter,” based on the popular Japanese vidgame franchise. Twentieth Century Fox will distribute the actioner, set to begin lensing in March.

Kristin Kruek is renowned for her role as Lana Lang in the Smallville TV series where she blew away hordes of men with her beauty and charm. This couldn’t get any better for anyone who loves Street Fighter, and Chun-Li, the character she will play! Along with her, the dude from American Pie, Chris Klien will play Nash.

Along with other numerous celebrities that have been cast for this movie, the producers plan to focus around Chun-Li, and intend to shoot the film in Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Vancouver.

OK, so whoever hasn’t played the SF series hasn’t played anything. This platform hit originated from Capcom cabinets, it then moved over to Nintendo and then eventually all gaming systems. The following is massive, the history is rich. Tournaments are abundant and the anticipation for this installment is huge. SF4 has only been 50% completed but it looks freaking awesome. Head on over to Famitsu for more shots! Here’s a taste…
