We at gamerpk believe in that, and we want you to let us in on any information that might be useful for us regarding gaming in Pakistan, or gamers in general or specific, to us at the address given below. News, interviews, thoughts, comments, suggestions, appreciations, anything!
We at gamerpk are also actively seeking people who are interested in writing for us. We are a non-profit that loves creativity, uniqueness, additionally anything that might be somehow related to gamers in Pakistan. If you feel you have the knack of writing 3 to 4 posts a week with a bit of flair for English, then don’t hesitate to email us. The candidates are expected to meet a certain standard of output and quality that can easily be scrutinized by themselves for improvement.
We need a few writers in the categories followed:
- Counter Strike Writer:
- A good background in local Counter Strike scene. CS1.6, CS Source and the upcoming CS Online. The author would mostly be posting about Clan and Tournament news.
- Interest in promotion for competitive, friendly and skirmish events for e-sport.
- Good communication skills in English; verbal, written and typed.
- Understanding of HTML, preferably. We can teach you this on the fly.
- Authors will be given instructions to make their lives easier. - DotA Writer:
- A good understanding and knowledge of the DotA map and community. The author would mostly be posting about Tournament news.
- Interest in promotion for competitive, friendly and skirmish events for e-sport.
- Good communication skills in English; verbal, written and typed.
- Understanding of HTML, preferably. We can teach you this on the fly.
- Authors will be given instructions to make their lives easier. - Hardware Introducer or Reviewer:
- A good knowledge of the computer hardware, and prices in Pakistan. People interested in over-clocking, modding, VGA cards, and chip sets are encouraged.
- Good communication skills in English; verbal, written and typed.
- Understanding of HTML, preferably. We can teach you this on the fly.
- Authors will be given instructions to make their lives easier. For a starter, go to FiringSquad, and Tom’s Hardware. - Technology News Writer:
- A good knowledge of current and upcoming technologies in mobile, internet and personal electronics markets.
- Good communication skills in English; verbal, written and typed.
- Understanding of HTML, preferably. We can teach you this on the fly.
- Authors will be given instructions to make their lives easier. For a starter, head on down to Gizmodo, Engadget, or Slashdot.
Incentives:
- All authors will be presented with certifications for recognition of their services after they have spent a substantial amount time with the weblog. Students and free-lancers are highly encouraged.
- All authors are partners in the weblog revenue. Keep that in mind. Bring in a good amount of traffic and you can have a good amount of revenue generated*.
