GITEX Shopping and Consumer Electronics Expo in Dubai has already begun since 18th October, which will feature GITEX Digital Gaming World with both Console and PC gaming tournaments.
Famous teams from around the world like SK Gaming, mTw Gaming, MYM Gaming, miBr, Team Digitnas, Fnatic, and Mousports will be clashing in a Counter Strike 1.6 tournament held in unison with Electronic Sports League (ESL). With 1st Place getting $25,000 and the 2nd aiming for $10,000 the total prize money for this tournament will be $50,000.
Sky carries the Olympic Torch

XiaoFeng “Sky” Li had carried the Olympic Torch and has become one of the ten gamers that have announced they will carry the torch for this momentous event. Other gamers that will join Sky are WarCraft 3 player JaeHo “Moon” Jang, and StarCraft player Junchun “Pj” Sha.

It’s a great thing that the gamers are getting in on the act and the organizers are supporting them too. This is a great publicity opportunity for gamers and the gaming community.

With more and more of out lives being organized into smaller and smaller chips these days, it is inevitable if you are a professional that you’d be using a laptop by now, or will use one in the near future for personal use.
From personal identification to contacts, to bank details and company designs. Mobile devices of today can be one hell of a baggage to carry. That is the very reason both the individual consumers and the governments around the world are talking cautions to safe guard their interests.
AWL Euro Qualifiers: A Story Massive No-Shows!?

You’d be surprised to note that big names like RotterdaM, ToD, Xyligan did not show up at the Afreeeca WarCraft League European qualifiers. Season 3 of AWL was having it’s European qualifiers to help expand the qualifiers, but a lot of the groups were left in the limbo as there was a massive no-show at the day of the qualifiers.
However, the wiser gamers took the full benefit of the opportunity to play for an Asian league, and names like Grubby, TeRRoR, miou, Rob, FuRy, and LiiL.DC qualified.
MYM reports that the spots vacated by ToD, XyLigan and RotterdaM have now being filled through a pre-qualifier. In a post qualification match interview to MYM gaming, srs.SonKiE complained that the Nightelf race needs nerfing. Catch all the replays and scores here.
