ASUS released a line of new laptops recently and two of which are made specifically for the gamers! The Republic of Gamer Laptops promises to take a gamer where a gamer could never go, and play a game.

The G71 and G50 machines boast 17” and 15” screens respectively so there is no corner gone unseen in a game. In addition to that, the machines have SATA drives for all the media we collect from over the internet. The G71 boasts 1 terabyte capacity on it’s HDDs. These machines have 4 GB of RAM and an nVidia 9700 GT churning out the graphics onto the screens.

The gaming kit that comes with the laptops also includes:

… a professional-grade 1600dpi gaming mouse that offers real-time sensitivity adjustment and a Siberia Steel Gaming Headset that accommodates extended sessions of gameplay in cool comfort.

While I recommend all pro-gamers and competitive gamers to custom build their own machines for optimum performance for tournaments and LANs. These laptops are not a bad option for those who want to travel, game and communicate with their laptops playing games that are not so performance and resource intensive.

Read all about their specifications and details here. Find an interesting discussion about the RoG series here.
