Telenor Djuice Sponsoring ESWC Pakistan

Time to gear up for another mega gaming event taking on Pakistan. Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) has finally made a come back in Pakistan after a their main sponsors changed this year. This year I am glad to announce it’s Djuice who are behind the National Qualifiers in Pakistan. The two games that Pakistan is playing in are Defence of the Ancients (DotA) and Counter Strike 1.6 (CS 1.6).
The qualification round will be held country wide from May 26th to June 10th. The national finals will be in Expo Center Karachi from June 13th to June 14th. And the Grand Final will be in San Jose (Silicon Valley), California from August 25th to August 27th.
- Preliminaries at participating Gaming Arenas : May 26- June 10th
- Participating cities Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Pindi,Faislabad, Hyderabad, Quetta
- Karachi Offline Pre-liminaries: June 6- June 8 (EXPO CENTER, Karachi)
- National Finals: June 13- 14th
- Grand Finale at California, USA
Registration opens on May 25th for all locations. Registration Fee Rs 1000 per team (Rs 200 per player).
Each registrant will get a djuice SIM or credit of Rs. 140 on their already existing djuice SIMS.For Registration, Rules and Regulations and participating gaming arenas go to Wired Up site.
To be able to participate it is mandatory to have a Djuice connection.
Teams from all over the world participate in this grand event, and the prize is more than prestigious. With a hefty purse for the winning teams, ESWC gives a lot of the winners the bragging rights about winning on the top level. ESWC has other categories that players compete in like WarCraft 3 1v1, FIFA 2008 etc. Click the image at the top left to gain more on where and how to register for the preliminaries!

It’s actually a good thing there isn’t no wc3 this time. 20 participants from all over the country would be a disgrace. Not to mention you wouldn’t have played this year either because of your exams.

I think because there was no such a game show arranged in history of Pakistan like this one I pay lot of thanks to all of the arrangers Additionally i will say :they should consider “Tekken” the biggest game in world ,Arcade style fighting like tekken tag tournament.There are millions of players even in pakistan.So i request for it to be included soon.
