Wolfenstein 3D ScreenshotWell, yeah, I do. I happened to get my hands on the game when I first visited what later on happened to be my alma mater.

The game at it’s time was ground breaking and it was amazing playing a game that threw you into the driver see of an agent finding and killing deep in the dungeons of Wolfenstein. The sound and music added another dimension to game development at that time, when these aspects were relatively backseat thanks to limited technology.

While most people were sicked by the motion, it was cheered and hailed as a great game all over. The blood and gore did throw some people off, and in countries like Germany, it was banned due to symbolism and music that was related to the Nazi regime of mid 1900s.

Here is an article by Wired that explains how it was one game that shot this genre to stardom.

Oh man, you just brought back all the memories!!! Playing in the dark, way into midnight and numerous times of entering the 100% health cheat code, just to take down the Fuhrer at the last level. Good times, LOL.
