Ted Owen talks Digital Games

digitalgames200.jpgGlobal Gaming League’s recently announced international mega-gaming event in Shanghai is gathering up pace and hype in the gaming community. Hot off the SK Gaming website that has an article with an interview of Ted Owen, the CEO of GGL. Read a primer about what this event is on our blog.

In an interview with GameRiot, the American enterpreneur discloses GGL’s plans as to his event. The general idea of the Digital Games is that it is going to be a cultural event more than a professional gaming event. GGL hopes to attract casual gamers with multiple genres and game platforms. Celebrity musicians and athletes playing video games are also supposed to be a part of the DG08, but esports tournaments will be included as well.
