Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA 4) Posters popping up in NewYork!
Successful Advertising Campaigns really test the ingenuity and creativity of the Advertising companies. An important news for Grand Theft Auto fans was the news that Rockstar Games recently announced that the latest installment in the Lineup, Grand Theft Auto 4, is set to be released on 29th April, 2008. In order to get some attention from gamers, GTA-4 Wanted Posters are popping up in public places in New-York area, the city that GTA4 will be built upon.

Poster Details: The poster warns that Bellic is “wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting at a nightclub in the Hove Beach area of Broker” explaining that the perpetrator is of eastern European descent “which narrows it down to about 95% of the Hove Beach community.” The poster jokes “Even we can’t arrest that many foreigners” and suggests that Bellic be shot on sight. The GTA IV poster also features an e-mail address and web site for the Liberty City Police Department. While the site isn’t currently up, the e-mail auto responder is. The response is after the jump.
The E-Mail Autoresponder!

Poster Details: This one was spotted in New York’s Lower East Side. It’s a wanted ad for Caribbean arms dealer Little Jacob. The joke is that the “LCPD will clear any outstanding parking/speeding violations in exchange for information leading to an arrest.”
Its just the start of this Advertising campaign, and already im loving it! These posters are bound to create hype all around the world, and only aiding in the already expected sell-out game.
Eagerly waiting for more posters :)……
